Wise was alright for us, but the proof if he was a good manager would have been if we'd finished in the top 3. Seeing as he's buggered off now, nobody knows if his management would have been good enough for that.
I'd personally be surprised if Wise achieved better than 6th with you.

Loved him, great motivator, nice bloke, commands massive respect, gets the players fit and hates in-fighting. He'll kick the cunts bringing disharmony to your club in minutes. Hence him stamping his authority early doors in stripping the captaincy from the captain and giving it to someone else. He likes a narrow compact team, and he'll give the opposition joy down the wings, but the defence will be organised and the team will fight for each other. |

With the benefit of hindsight (Wonderful thing!) and now that I've taken my Dennis Wise rosie glasses off, I'd have to say that although the team were undoubtly fitter and together as a group, Wise didn't actually have a lot of tactical nous, nor were we, for most of the games this season, very attractive to watch (Not that that will bother Leeds fans).
I think he may have a bit of a honeymoon period at first (If they beat Southend) but I don't think he'll be the man to guide you back to the Premiership.
Added to that, he's a pygmy cunt.
