I got in Paul Hayes from Barnsley. Averaging a goal a game at the moment. Big Duncan Ferguson's banging them in now as well.
I got Ferguson to call a players meeting about underperformance whilst sitting 14th in the table, meeting was a huge sucess, confidence boosted and I'm flying in fourth at the moment.

Having a bad start to my third season, Better squad same tactics and it's not working. Doesn't help that Mbesuma who scored loads in preseason got himself fucked and then Jeffers (7goals in a 11) got injured aswell.
The Cock is getting inconsistant and the only other cover I've got is Shola Ameobi's brother, Tomi or something. He's pretty young and complains if you play him to much.
Think I'm being a bit of a victem of my own sucess a bit, Jumping between 11th and 14th last few games, I'll trash someone and then get beaten. Tried playing a slower passing game but that didn't work. Teemu only just got back and missed preseason which didn't help either.
Sure I can still be up there at the end of the season but I think I'll have to get a mega run to hit the championship.

6 games into the 08/09 season, won 1, drawn 5. cant score for shit. away at walsall, they're doing quite well... media said i was gonna get beaten... pook, elton da costa, barbaros barut, lawrence aidoo and jimmy floyd hasselbank all injured, and shakes on international duty, which meant i had aaron brown as DM, weston as MR, rhodes ML and caton AMC... i won 5-1  and that was after i went 1-0 down! i was quite pleased. |

Having a nightmare with this game. 8th at end of first season but so inconsistent. Currently 14th in second season and waiting to be sacked. Seem to get loads of injuries too. At one point I had to draft in about 6 reserve and youth team players just to get a side together. Fola has consistently been top scorer and has been called up to Nigeria squad!?

ben can you post a pic of teemu's stats? he's not terribly brilliant for me, perhaps because i play him differently to you though.
31 games into my second season and i'm 10th, was in the play-offs for a fair while but had a slump over christmas.
i've strengthened with a few signings in the transfer window, hopefully i'll make a late surge on the play-offs but promotion could come too early if achieved...

teemu's inconsistant for me at best. He'll turn a game around by scoring 2 but then be quiet for 4 or 5 matches. 'a lot of my players say they are happy to be playing with him in there personal bit of their stats. He's still young so I guess he'll become more consistant.
Stat's wise are ok at the moment, they were getting pretty high but then he broke his leg and was out for ages. I'll post a pic tomorrow, I'm going to bed in a min. Oh, I play him behind the front to as an AMC in a diamond formation.
Think I'm starting to turn the season around a bit, started winning a few games now. Really shouldn't have conceeded 3 against oxford. Interesting that none of my strikers scored. Havnig pretty big injury problems there.

I'm now on a run of 4 wins on the bounce, just played Cardiff at the CG... DJ campell scored in the 68th minute, Emre Ozturk (turkish german fellow, quite useful) gets another in the 72nd, his forst for the club.
80th minute, cardiff substitute Purse for peter talbot, who, two minutes later, lands a cracking right hook on Ozturk, and gets sent off. superb!!!
