Wise words Reginald.  I got my slow cooker in the January sales, for £8 with a 3 year warrenty thrown in. Chuck stuff in, go to work, come home to a lovely dinner ready to be served  Cool


 They are indeed a great thing, so versatile, better still is to get a partner to cook for you.....  A lot on this forum still seem to expect their mothers to cook for them  :roll:


There's a lot of enjoyment from knocking up a nice meal, although less if you're just cooking for yourself. Cooking for other people is where the fun is at. Unless you have a disaster then its a bit shit.


  Is this a roundabout way of announcing the FB dinner party?

   The guest list might make for interesting reading.
