i ll tell you a chant that is shit

"ince is the guv-vun-nor
 ince is the guv-vun-nor
 ince is.............

worst chant ever is that 'loyal supporters' rubbish.  Its completely self-aggrandising, its like standing up and singing I'm great over and over again.

Especially when its sung by the 2000 fans who've crawled out of the woodwork now we're top....

makes me laugh we all moan we dont get enough fans and then when they do come we moan at them for not coming enough or not creating enough atmosphere or we moan because they sing songs like loyal supporters

you can only sing loyal supporters if you attend 90% of the
games
and if you do you will get a firm telling off

so i wont be singing it im only about at the 75% mark Oops

It's just the "loyal supporters" chant - 1. its crap, 2. it's sung by the part timers.

Well said Mr Ian. Stop moaning you lot, they are just songs, who cares if they aren't true[lets face it we obviously aren't the Greatest team the world has ever seen] or there're sung too fast?At least some fans are trying to create a bit of atmosphere. Its easy to sit there moaning, you all sound like a bunch of snobs Tongue

I actually meant that we should sing about our team rather than ourselves.  Its so easy to make enemies on here!  Not sure how I sounded like a snob though, unless it was the use of a word with more than two syllables.

Football songs, regardless of quality lyrics, are sung way too fast at Town games. It's not a race...

i agree but only with the songs with clapping in

its so funny when some of the naitionwide start and they get faster and faster until they cant go no more
thats why some of it hasnt got such a good atmo
they all wear themselves out Cheesy

Soapy Tit Wank I've noticed that the young lads in the corner of the Nationwide make the chants go very fast, maybe its because they are all in the first flush of youth and just want everything to speed up and go very very fast. The youth of today eh :old:

"Sing your hearts out for the lads" is particularly gay in my humble opinion.

I like singing self-confident songs! We're top and we should celebrate that! Last time we were top of any league after a few games was when I was a tax-dodging student, when we won at Portsmouth in October 1997. Given the barren years that we have suffered, let's keep singing our hearts out!
