Apart for stating he 'believes Darlington are a bigger club'   , there really isn't much to disagree with quite frankly.

Anyway, I thought you agreed to dress up as Daisy Duke in his honour?

Birdy - congrats on making the top ten posters, you geek  Cheesy

so, come on then tell me....what was his natural position?

Maybe, I am wrong...but I certainly dont remember him ever playing in what I would class as his natural position for Swindon...

I would have stuck him in the right wing, he was right footed and much better going forward than defensivly and he had a decent cross on him with both feet, which is more than can be said for current right winger...
I think right wing was his best position. He was okay going forward and by the time he left he could cross with both feet. I would have had him out wide right from the start

I had one season were I rarely turned up - 2004/05.  The two before that I prob saw 10 give or take at home each season, so I did manage to see him a fiar chunk during his time at the club, if not every game of course.

I've never completely stopped, just that one year where it was a miserable attendance record and 2 well below what I would normally do, and what 4-5k would do.  back in the swing now though, ans sometime in 4 years from now, I might be able to afford some more away games

i remember his run and goal in an fa cup game. the town end were booing him etc... and then he scored, everyone went nuts and chanted dukey for scotland?
now, i dunno if they were trying to insult him secretly, and duke thought it was a compliment. That though sounds too intelligent for the town end.

That was ace, this chode was sat about 5 rows behind shouting for his head, so I ran up when Dukey scored and told the guy he was a prick. Not seen the bloke since, bloody part timers!

I thought his best game for us was the Brighton (H) play-off when king gave him a central berth. Made sense as he could (almost) use both feet, was relatively nippy and, when shown a sight of goal could give it a good crack.

That game ended in injury and King never gave him another chance down the middle. For me he was crap but to be honest it was as much King's fault as his own.
