It's gone a bit quiet on the race to get your driving licence first.

Are either of you anywhere near to putting in for your test yet?

I'll enter, I managed to screw mine last week straight out of the test centre.

Next one in 6 weeks time.

I really shouldn't be allowed to ever drive.

My driving instructor had 2 weeks off and then I had a lesson and went off on holiday for two weeks so things were a bit sparce! My first lesson back was fine but I stalled on a roundabout and things were slightly shakey as I tryed to get back into it. Had a perfect lesson a couple of days ago  Cool  Drove to chippy, He said my steering was perfect and my 3 point turns are getting better and my gear change is perfect now so I am back in the race and he should give me a date for my theory soon! I am in no rush.......trust me, I don't want to cause accidents  Tongue

don't worry, you're female. accidents are perfectly natural and to be expected.

a mate just crashed his fiesta in the back of an audi a3 at 40mph and completely fucked up the front-end. five months driving, two fairly serious crashes. twat!

I'm pretty confident driving now  Cool  Too confident I think. I love driving. I love changing gear, I love saying thankyou to people as you drive past and I loved doing 80 down the bypass and taking over the snotty bitch in the saxo. My instructor gets a bit funny when I honk the horn really loudly at my mates when we are going through westbury but I love it I really do.

:x  Why are people so mean to learner drivers? Some blokes were honking loads at me the other day. It did actually put me off.

My driving instructor used to stick his fingers up at people that did that.  He managed to do it to my dad and my boyfriend whilst on lessons  Cheesy

I know some people are so impatient. Somebody actually overtook me between Wootton Bassett and Lyneham round a blind bend when I was already over 60mph

There was a mobile speed camera in the 30 limit in Lyneham  Cool
