... featured in a nice article in the Metro today about the Learning Disabilities World Cup, which England will enter as favourites and reigning champions.

The team features 18 non-league players, with IQs below 75.

Presumably the picture of (recently dropped from the full squad) Mr. Beckham on the same page (advertising a razor) is purely coincidental...

Am I missing something or does Brayley have learning difficulties?

Never knew that and he's still playing for Canvey Island.

You know what I think he’s a ringer or he’d got in off the back of being slightly dyslexic.

As I recall BB was a mate of a mate of Donegan, so the club were paying a fortune to put the kid up somewhere like the Marrriot....even though he was essentially a  not very good youth team player.  Bertie got a bit bored in his luxurious surrounds so  set himself up a set of goals in his room, and wiled away the tedium by having kickabouts with himself...not necessarily a sign of low intellectual capacity.....but strong corroborative evidence when put with Dazzza's pic.

His being a mate of Ruddocks suddenly makes a lot more sense

I turned Dean Chandler (also in the England slow-squad) into a £5m defender on Champ Man.

Woo hoo for me
