Comet near Asda (Orbital?) have a Sky HD demo. Dixons in town had a general HD demo but it wasn't using Sky HD as a source.

In theory it should be better than DVD quality. By beter I mean more detailed because the resolution is higher.

In practice I strongly recommend you check it out before investing.

Jesus wept! £299 for an HD Sky Box?Huh? then another £10 a month on top of everything else?Huh?

Fuck off.

There's a limit to how good a tv picture can be.

Cheers Batch, I can't tell the difference anyway so it's a case of ignorance being bliss either that I need to get the old eye peepers tested.

If they've got it set up properly then you can definitely see the difference - they've got it in the Currys here in Salisbury.

I'd liken it to watching a DVD after being used to video, or listening in Stereo instead of Mono.

Saying that, I still won't be spending my money on it just yet
