Thats an amusing read. , So, the Hotspurs fans just turned the jeers around, proudly proclaiming themselves a 'Jew Army' and -- despite the fact that most weren't even Jewish -- embraced the imagery wholeheartedly. Just to spit in the face of the racist idiots who misidentified them in the first place." Seriously, how weird is English soccer

On the Man City shirts: Baby blue, a shade lighter than the UNC Tar Heels. Probably the sweetest jerseys in the EPL. I can't emphasize this strongly enough -- these things are SPECTACULAR. Tee hee.

Seriously, how weird is English soccer It is rather surreal seeing a large group of mainly black lads singing 'Yid Army!' Ajax love it even more though, they call themselves 'Super Jews', while Feyenoord fans make hissing sounds. I just wish he'd picked Scouseland as his 'vacation' destination

" Finally George Harrision's reply to those impertinent enough to ask which club he supported was the obtuse: "There are three teams in Liverpool and I prefer the other one." Which leaves us very much where we started. "
so he means either tramnere or accrington then?
and this bit at the end of the page....
" "I support Swindon Town, my wife supports Liverpool," says Tim Beaumont. "Very occasionally both win but more usually one or other loses. This set me wondering: have there ever been any matchdays of maximum happiness for our household? This would involve Swindon and Liverpool winning AND Everton, Manchester United, Oxford United and Bristol City ALL losing, preferably heavily. Is there any way of finding this out?" "

I assumed he meant Tranmere, although it seems strange for someone from that area to say Birkenhead is Liverpool. They hate that normally and cry if anyone calls them scousers.

It might have happened at Blunderland as well, but it was a Boro fan who ran on and through his season ticket at MacLaren. They saw fit to punish him by giving it back

I think that guy is a prize cunt for supporting a Premiership team and about not wanting to choose one who might get relegated. That is so very American and not an EPL thing to do at all!
Having said that it made for a good read. i will however gladly email him my views on "EPL" football and enlighten him with the joys of real "soccer" down in the Coke-football franchise divisions

Yeah but those teams that are likely to go down - you wouldn't want to support them anyway would you?
