Yeah the late night threads have been lacking recently. I used to start one nearly every night. Thought about it tonight but there didn't seem to be a lot of people around. Also I'm annoyed becasue I seem to be on my 7th can of kroney but don't really feel drunk.

Just had an annoying beat in poker. Was getting a bit bored anyway so was playing some mental hands. Went all in with 33, got called with 22 and the cunting cunt cunt hit a 2 on the river. It was only a matter of time. I was playing like a nutter, doubled up when I called an all in with my AQ and won on high cards vs. an AJ. Had a 'feeling' that he'd missed the draw and was bluffing but still a mental all in call.

It's ok sonic, I have lot's or nerdy days, although my computer won't rise to the heights of WoW and doesn't do FM06 very well, I have found a new love for japanese style console rpg's and am currently working my way through chrono cross. I haven't given Quake2 a go for ages, sure I completed it back in the day, might give it a go for a bit of nostalgia. Did Opposing Force and Blue Shift last week, the original half-life always bores be to death when you get to the alien world.

It was a tourney with only a $2 buy in so not a lot. Was playing on Titan, they do freerolls every thursday and sunday for students. Managed to finish 30th on sunday and won $5. then went on to win a few more tournements and get $20 out of $5 buy in, top 30 get money jobby. Now up to $50. Won a fair whack on a cash game which was nice. Don't play cash games drunk though, it's to easy to tilt.

Sensible idea but always get over excited. My last bet was 30 quid on West ham to beat liverpool in the final, would of made a nice profit till gerrard the scouse bastard scored in the last minute, resulted in me taking out an illegal second student overdraft

Yes I am, and about to fail. Uni's all good until you realise that after about 100years of exam's and coursework you just want to get pissed instead. Exeter's a bit of an odd uni, it's filled with rich kiddies which didn't get into the better uni's, Bristol, Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, etc. Makes it a bit hit and miss on nights out as you can go to walkabout to watch the footy and get stuck with loads of twats from the rugby team. It's pretty shit night out wise but since the lisencing hours have been relaxed some of the really awesome pubs have come into their own.

I've got a few mates who go to uwe. Had some random days/evenings out there, none of which I can remember. Got a few mates from uni who live in/near there aswell so meet up in brizzle occasionally. Seems like a fun place, definately more going on than exeter.

Yea can imagine, UWE is filled with loads of rich bristol uni rejects. Made the mistake of not takin a year out as feared ild never go to uni although now im only in my first year am already sick of end of year exams, can imagine how you feel after 3 more years of it. Stil not ready to enter the big bad world of full time work yet tho. What u studying?

Doing computer science. Pretty much the only reason I went to uni was becasue I couldn't be arsed to get a proper job, although now the prospect of actually having some money looks ace, even if I have to work a crappy job.

Uni's meant I ain't seen a town game for fucking ages and I hate that. To be fair it's mostly down to my lack of organisation with the having to get consession tickets in advance. If I go home it tends to be a last minute jobby, and then I don't want to pay the extra £6, sitting in the townend is all good but if I'm gonna use some of my very small weekly budget on a football game I want to actually have a half decent view.

What are you studying? hopefully something more interesting than my subject. You might have even allready said, I'm too lazy to scroll up to look at your previous posts.

International Business, although Business Studies now seems like the stereotypical uni course to do i always fancied living in America for a placement year which this offers me the chance to do, plus was the only thing i was ever half good at during my school days. The thing that kills me is being unable to buy new clothes and also the depression of having  spent money the morning after a night out, constantly having to watch where every pound goes. Being in Bristol means im able to attend the odd town game but ticket prices reduces me to about three a season and no away games. Also im not one of those cunts whose parents pay for everthing so the student loan is battered within days of recieving it which leaves my lack of funds even more of a struggle. Now at the point where a full time wage seems exciting
