I still haven't seen Xmen2 and my housemates want to rent it tonight, but I'm equally tempted to go and watch England. I guess I could be a loser and watch xmen on my own some other time  :|

I find watching a DVD on your own is better than with people at times, especially if it's a movie you really want to see. Manys the time i've whacked on a DVD with friends over, then got chatting and completely missed the movie, most recently Life Aquatic

Ruptured his groin, poor lad.

Still he's probably 5th pick when Kirkland's fit and Carson's playing,

It was England B ffs. The midfield was not the proper England team and I know it was only Belarus, but Lennon looked a class above. A goal was gifted to them because of Green and the second goal was due to Dawson's (recently subbed on) mistake. The only concern is our ability to meet a good cross (from a starting eleven perspective).

I only saw the second half after the Belarus fella got sent off. Personally, I would have hoped that a team full of Premiership players could have slaughtered the 'mighty' Belarus !

Performance that I watched was abysmal. Noone who could score a goal against what looked to me to be a dodgy keeper !

Shite !

The result isn't really important. More important is that Owen and Ashley Cole etc. came through it fine and the only player injured was green who was no likely to play anyway.

Lennon had a great game and hopefully he will feature in the first team a lot. The Owen and Crouch partnership is a good one, Hargreaves is a shit right back.

Lennon was fan'bloddy'tastic, ran all night and caused problems everytime he had the ball at his feet. Thought both Owen and Crouch were poor, both wasted good chances. Hargreaves was just awfull, never understood why he keeps getting picked for the squad, let alone allowed to play. Otherwise nothing really stood out. The only time the stadium really came alive was when Walcott came on, then to be fair the atmosphere was pretty good for 5 mins, although there was approx 22k there it very rarely felt like it.
Still a good night out for £15 though.

Agree with that 100%.

The first half was a different story to the second as well.
