Not being funny but this happens all the time... 'false' sympathy just because he played football is wrong, what about all the others, like that lad in Scotland?

Yeah but lots of kids do and of course it's sad. But he's not more deserving of a mention because he played football.

I'm with Dave, false sympathy does my head in, I didn't know him.
There's kids dying every day all over the world yet we don't have a dedicated thread for every one.

Very sad for his friends and family, very sad state of affairs for the country, but like Dave says, that's life, nowadays.

it's always a huge shame when someone dies so young, particularly when they're brutally murdered but dave's right.

... very sad state of affairs for the country, but like Dave says, that's life, nowadays. Scary shit out there now. My step son was beaten up in 'leafy Bournemouth' for just walking along the wrong street the other day and my daughter's boyfriend was beaten up (very badly) by three Chavs the other night, just for fun. Trouble is, there were always fights when I was a kid but we knew when it was over. These days it seems some kids aren't satisfied until somebody dies!!!!!

Who asked any of you to be sympathetic?
Fair enough this kind of shit happens.
Footballer or no footballer a 15 year old lad is killed for no reason.....I bet all of you keep quiet for a minutes silence at football matches when a player has recently died and I bet you wouldn't have known him! Whats different?
