.....the first post war team to have been relegated to the conference having played top flight football? If they are that even makes our premiership to league 2 feat look shit. Cheers Pox, always stealing our unwanted thunder.

Although they are the first to have fallen out of the league who have won the league cup. Hopefully we don't try and emulate them

and if we insist on considering the top flight as non existent before 1992, Wimbledon/MkDonalds are equal with us in going down and in fact did it in far less time than us.

Ah, but in these Sky Prem days, they are the first team to have been relegated to the bottom league after being in the first Prem season back in 1992.
I'm just trying to show that the stupid records that keep being banded about are just that, stupid.
If we go by the Prem then you'd have people suggesting Liverpool have never won the league!

Give him a slap, sir It is scary how the premiershit has distorted the way people think and erased memories.

I hate all that "Ooooooh that's a Premiership record" bollocks. It's like the previous hundred years or more of history never happened.

This premiership fact is cool though.
If you add up Sunderland's points from this season, and the points they won in their previous Premiership season, they'd have still been relegated this year.
Funny as fuck, what a joke!! Makes our 30pts total look like championship material!
