If an apple fell from a tree, and nobody was around to hear it, would it make a sound?

What do you mean if nobody was around to hear it. No humans? Do animals not hear things? Nothing at all? Well what about the tree itself do trees not hear vibrations? Yes they do.
Ergo, If an apple fell from a tree then it's not possible that nothing would be around to hear it as the apple falling would create vibrations that would be felt by the tree and may lead to a further chain of events, perhaps some leaves falling. An apple falling from a tree will always make a sound. FACT.

I had a thought once. It scared me, so I banished it and I've not had one since.

interest so far to merit further development of this innovative product. I don't like the way you're forcing Christmas onto other religions and cultures Worry not because alternative versions will be available including a ramadam version featuring no food and a pagan one featuring stone henge. I will write a note on all the Chrismasses I drop over Africa, saying "So this is Christmas: Take it or leave it." That way they can decide for themselves whether they want Christmas. Well in that case, I don't like the way you're going to make us buy Christmas but give it away free to Africans.

Just to provide an update on this amazing idea I had, I sold my idea to these people, for vast profit: http://www.innovationsxtreme.com/ and they've put it until full production. Contact them for further information.

I wil not be buying one of your new fangles Xmases.
Whats wrong with going out Xmas eve, getting rat arsed.
Fighting the night away.
or screwing the night away?
You'll never beat years of tradition.

I don't think you understand. You can still do all of those things but you will just have more time to do spend doing them.

Technically the falling would be silent, you could argue the landing though.
