Gurney may or may not care about the club but he's been one of the few this season who at least looks like he has some personal pride in his own performance. In lieu of any genuine passion for the club, or much ability, I'll take that. And puts him leagues ahead of many of the other spongers equally deficient in passion and ability. He's all right by me.
