I'm playing in the pokerroom one later, think registration has finished now but it plays 40 places from 2400. I've won about $15 before, even though I've not finished higher than 26th though, if my pocket queens hadn't lost I'd have been pretty much tournament leader at that point. I'm gonna win it soon for sure.

I got the titanstudentpoker one kicking off at 7. nightmare to get your money out by all accounts though. Lot's of idiots playing although that can make it harder, gonna get more people hitting random crap on rivers.

I don't have the patience for the long tourneys. Just walked into a clever check-raise. If I learnt self-control I'd be an ace player.

You can spot the fish who think any overcards are a hand (at the start of tournaments anyhow). Pocket 10s out after a raise from a KJ offsuit pre-flop.

I find a lot of people seem to call with any two suited cards even if they're 63 or something. Still means you get payed off if you get something really good.

Too true. Though the majority of the time after fluking a big stack, they still can't fold and end up losing the lot before getting paid.

I was playing on the pokerroom freeroll just now had about 15-20 thousand when stfc village suddenly arrived on my table! I think I knocked him out though. He went all in and I had pocket kings, so I had to call really, actually went all in to try and knock everyone else out so one of us won it but that didn't work. Village had pocket queens but my kings won. Sorry village! Very unlucky going out with pocket queens, has happened to me a few times.
