Migz has been living on past glory all season.

Shame cos he used to be good .

Bristol City at home he was good, and Rotherham away as a make shift Centre Back he was very very good.

He has had good games this season, just not recently sadly

You can name only two good games this season (and one of them played out of position !) and you still call him our main man Huh???

No more questions your honour !!!

we won both games! thats a fact?

I didnt say they were his only two good games, but certainly his two best ones.

Still find me a player who has had 5/6/7/8-10 good games that you can name.....

I've been thinking about football while drinking and I'd happily play migz in the centre of defence in a 5-3-2 wingback formation. Nicholas is should be good on the left aslong as he get's cover. Right side is a problem. Lacking Centre mids so Gurney would have to be playing in the midfield. so shakes on the right with heavy defending on the right side. Of course we don't have enough central midfielders which is where my mad plan falls to pieces. Maybe have migz and gurney as the defensive midfield with roberts in an attacking mid role. Fuck knows what I'm talking about. sommin like this...

                  Evans
      O'Hanlon   Migz   Ifil
Shakes                         Nico
           Gurney   Pook
                 Roberts
          Cureton   Peacock

Not sure our players are clever enough to play thet. Maybe Brown or Jarrett in for robberts or as subs to strengthen the wings. If you play wing backs you need to have intellegent players on either side to cover them. Always got the danger of a good switch ball but then gurney and pook should help cover that.

Fuck know what I'm on about though.

Shakes wouldnt defend enough as a wing back.

Full choice of players and I like the 3-5-2 option

Evans

Gurney

O'Hanlon
Ifil
CCP

Nicholas

Smith
Miglioranzi
Brown

Cureton
Peacock

Correct. He used to be good.

I have NEVER seen Pook put in a crunching tackle. He approaches them all with the commitment of Matt Hewlett.

we were talking about using wing-backs last night as well. i reckon...

-------------evans--------------
-------ifil--o'hanlon--CCP------
j.smith----------------nicholas
---gurney--migz--p.smith---
-----cureton--peacock-------

...would be a well 'ard team. would also give migz a bit more freedom?

why are you all not putting in Shakes?

last night when he came on as WING BACK he traked all the way to our own line and shielded the ball out or cleared it on numerous occasions.

we seemed to brighten up when he came on.

he's a massive player for us and we need him down the wing.

J.Smith is fucking dreadful at the moment and wouldn't even play for my sunday league team.

Two men we miss at the moment is Smith and more importantly CCP.

Migs is a fair weather player.  When the sun is shining and the team is playing well, Migs will fit in nicely.  When it's fucking freezing and you're in the middle of a relegation battle Migs is not the man for the job.

If we had him paired up with P.Smith in midfield then it would be ok, he could do his little ficks and tricks and it wouldn't matter if he lost the ball because P.Smith would always be there to get the ball.

The only thing wrong with Migzi is he can't tackle to save his life.

Migs is hidiously out of form. Don't know why.

Laugh all you like but on his day there isn't a better player in this league.

At the moment he is a liability and will find it to to get a new contract at any club based on his form since coming back from his latest mini-injury. And as a Mgiz fan it hurts me to say that.
