tonight i surpassed even my high standards.
got on the guest list for the nme shows, invited backstage by the mystery jets, then took the mystery jets, we are scientists, artic monkeys and maximo park to one of my associate clubs and hung out.
all four bands top people, had a cracking conversation with the guitarist from the artic monkeys about football, he is a huge wednesday fan and i took the piss about last season. alex the singer and the drummer are fuckin ace too. then managed to convince the drummer from we are scientists to get on stage and sing with a gay cabaret, all 4 bands have promised to dj holdup! jobs a good un.
