Erm, at the risk of provoking an already irate Yeovil, can I say "nice one" yeovil? For setting the whole thing up and that. And for winning the 1.20 as well, natch.

For 31.25, we should be able to get a Bobby Howe - or two Juan Cobians - or a bungtastic special bargain selection pack of Ruster, Heiselberg and Van der Linden

Yeovil, don't be bullied on this one. Slow and steady wins the race. If you don't want to risk too much in one go then fair enough and likewise if you change your mind then fair enough.

£3 for each bet means you can lose ten bets and wipe your money out. That's not many bets. You start betting £5 and you only have 6 losses before you're out of cash. What a dumbass suggestion. Yes it's a gamble, but wouldn't you rather have £30 to put towards the fund than nothing? If we can win £5 a week that will be quite a bit of cash and maybe when the pot is built up a bit then accumulators/more bets per day/bigger stakes wouldn't be so silly.

I'd say it's Yeovil's cash and Yeovil's idea so whatever way he wants to do it, is how its done. And if the rest of us want to do things differently there's nothing to stop us from putting up our own cash and doing our own version.

ok but just one more time

Quote
£5 on swindon and cheltenham to win gets returns of £165.

the whole point of gambling is that it is a gamble. risking £3 for a return of £1.20 insn't going to get you far as you if you did it over three matches you need every match to win, if one out of the three loses your back to square one.
you've got to look at acumilators or www.soccerstand.com is very good for looking at form which many odds dont usually look at. odds are largley based on home/away and standings. e.g they think swindon will lose on friday

but as already discussed by me and yeovil red it is his money and we all want him to win so its his choice. slow and steady can win the race but there are no dead certs in football and so no one is really right.

it was a good idea to start this thread, i think gamblers world wide shud post there tips so we can all be rich and especially the fund

Was in the CGH after a game last year. Chelsea are on the box (prem plus), 5pm ko. Bloke says to me hes put £100 on Chelsea to win.

Guess what, it was the Man City game, the only one chelsea lost all last season in the premiership. Made me snigger anyway.
