Bit late, but Happy new year Jan!

What do you think 2006 holds for the Hibs then?

Hearts' league title challenge was near enough ended by Ian Brines against Celtic when he sent Fyssas off (the sending off has now been rescinded on tv evidence!!) when Hearts were 2-1 up and the hooped arseholes went on to score 2 late goals. Neil Lennon chose not to celebrate in front of his own fans, instead winding up the Hearts fans. No wonder there was bother after the game, stupid ginger prick!

Hearts this week look to have agreed a deal to sign Bosnian winger Mirsad Beslija who is apparently a whippet of a left winger. Leeds and Sunderland were apparently interested also. Add to this, Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Aguier from Benefica and Lee Johnson from Yeovil who are expected to sign, things are looking ok for the Jambos, despite having a cack manager!

I was genuinely gutted you boys lost against them.  See you've got an alright draw against Aberdeen in the cup.  We should be alright against Scotlands fourth best side  Wink .

To be honest mate I'm not sure what's going on transfer wise for the Hi-bees, although knowing Hibs I'd think they'll be more go out the door than in.

Like the sound of the winger you got, not sure about the thinking on Johnson though, is he really good enough for a champions league chasing club??

I'm just hoping we can stay above Rangers, tall order though as they look like they're finally getting it together, the bastards!!

If you can beat Rangers, (You've already pumped them 3-0 at their own place) and Hearts beat Aberdeen (Which they should), then a Hearts v Hibs final would be amazing! (Provided Hearts win!)

The winger sounds good, but I am not sure about Lee Johnson, I haven't seen enough of him to suggest he would make a good SPL player. To be honest, Hearts don't really need strengthening in midfield, a right back is more of a neccessity!!

The derby is on the 28th January at Tynecastle!, I am looking forward to it already! Beers

The 28th is a saturday kick off at 3pm, so no TV coverage for you unfortunately! I'll be there though!

Further transfer update is that Liverpool striker Neil Mellor is due in Edinburgh for talks with a view to a permanent signing to Hearts.
