Very poor this year indeed.
I normally give friends and relatives a few inexpensive bits and pieces from the club as ideas for Christmas presents but this year the choice has been a bit ropey to say the least.
Next year I’d like to see…
-More mugs – A man can never have enough Football mugs
-Club cufflinks and tiepin – Think they used to do these a while back.
-Club Tie – Not some nylon and polyester effort I wouldn’t tie my gimp up with let alone hang around my neck. S&S Silk and subtle.
-STFC condoms – Say no more
-DVD’s & Books – Everything and Anything
-General gumpf – Stuff like branded year planners, desktop calendars, mobile phone logos, blow up Onura dolls general useful stuff most people are going to buy anyway but branded with the clubs logo.
-Credit Card
-Wallets & Card holders
-Cheese

It's not as good as other years. I guess like everything else it's because they haven't got a lot of money to buy stuff up front.
But then it's catch 22 as if the shop isn't stocked well they won't sell so much etc etc.

Could never wear a STFC tie unless:
a) Didnt have the STFC logo or writing on it (Rendering it pointless)
b) I worked at STFC and was wearing it there.

I think the merchandise is not bad, average I'd say. Although I do like the caps and hats in the clubshop. I think my dads got me the pink one for christmas

I get where you're coming from 100% fella.
I'd re-consider if it was 100% silk and the logo was incredibly subtle. Noticeable to the trained eye but to your average stiff it doesn't look like anything other than a logo/brand name.
