why does dex have a smiths lyric in his signature?

A Smiths fan in the loose sense of the word.

Appriciate some of their material was brilliance / dont worship Morrisey, dont like a lot of their stuff. Dont want the whole depressing baggage that their scene created. But then it can be uplifting to hear that material in some respects. Besides Ive told you I like some of their stuff before - your just not listening to me enough!  

If I was a fan of anyone it would have to be Oasis, because Ive seen something good in just about every track theyve ever done.

i don't really worship morrissey, never was totally devoted or anything. i understand what you mean about the wrist slitting baggage, got fed up of that now.

they've written some very uplifting tracks though, there is a light... being the main one.

 :shock: A few?In my humble opinion almost every song The Smiths wrote was a work of sublime elegiac beauty,shot through with sardonic humour and wit.
The trouble with The Smiths is they make all the new bands seen slightly irreverent,whats the point in buying new albums when i have The Smiths albums?

I find 'there is a light' a very depressing song. But there you go.

It is music for those who dont quite fit in. Saw a piece on it said it was music for the outsiders - and outsiders are always dangerous.
