Aussie poo faces? May i just say i find this very, very offensive. Imagine you was just a piece of shat led on the floor causing no harm the odd fly lands and has a little puck sure. However it's disgusting to be mistaken for Aussie terrible

Sadly I think we've slightly less than no chance  Sad

Every time we beat the Aussies they go away and learn from their mistakes, after we beat them in 86/87 following on from 85 and 81, they went away and organised the academy system which made sure that talent got through to the test side asap.

It also ensured that facilities were available as well as talent scouts in every outback hick town in the land.....so no potential young player was missed.

We have learnt to some extent from the Aussies, and have made some progress, but we're still miles behind......this is shown when counties employ Aussies like Law,  Hussey, Harvey, Cox, Di Venuto, Elliot, Hodge and Symonds any of whom would walk into the England side but don't get too close to a test for Australia.

If Harmison fires we've got a chance, if he doesn't we are fucked. Absolutely fucked.

Still, three Tests to play in South Africa which are currently much more important and perhaps after them we will find out just where we stand.

Currently, out of those I think only Hodge would get in our Test side. He'd make our side complete at number 3. Hussey and Elliott would be there or there abouts for the Tests but not in the one-day picture, whilst the rest would have all got in the side three years ago, wouldn't now.

Why would we want Law instead of Pietersen and Bell?? Too old, not good enough and he's an Aussie. So that's a NO.

I wondered that. But Sky sports news make it sound bigger than it actually is.
I am really hoping that Pietersen will place Key asap.

I think it'll be more even than it has been in recent years, but overall we'd do well to get close to them.

I'm definitely going to Edgbaston and Lords and every time I've seen England play Australia - England have won! That can only be a good omen...

Hopefully Brett Lee will continue to be dropped from the team. He is a ****.

I've met the England cricket team in Brisbane when they beat Sri Lanka 2 years ago in a one dayer and they are nice enough but a bit square.  Bless.
