Is it just me that finds it a bit on, in more than one of todays articles it talks about Thorpe and Cureton viaing for a place up front with Fallon if King goes 4-4-2 yet there isnt a single mention of Christian Roberts?
Is he injured or something, or just generally being ignored?

I know. He needs to learn to give people a chance. Look what happened when he played Sniff last year.

Roberts for me, hasn't impressed that much. he looks good when coming on, with like 20 minutes to go and needs to prove a point. when he starts, he looks too lazy as he is playing...just me.

He hasnt exactly been on form, but then again neither have Cureton and Thorpe.
This isnt about whether he should start or not, I made my opinion on that before Southend, however what its odd to me is the fact he isnt even mentioned as another striking option.
Why isnt he even mentioned, it would explain it if he was injured but as far as I'm aware he isnt....

yeh, very true. don't know why he isn't mentioned, might just be that he will just be obviously placed on the bench.

Perhaps it's because he refused to play in the reserves.

I was of the "Roberts to come on"school-but I'm now willing to give him a chance starting after our last 3 performances.

Perhaps it's because he refused to play in the reserves. And has it actually been proved that it was Roberts?, you cant blame him when Cureton has been shite yet he still gets picked to start.
