The appeal and spirit of motorsport has long since departed and is firmly in the past. Great, brave and noble sportsmen such as Jackie Stewart, Nigel Mansell, Senna, Jim Clark, Prost, Lauda are firmly in the past and have nothing to do with modern motorsport which is dull in the extreme.

Last meaningful event motorsport produced outside F1 was Jaguar winning Le Mans in 1988. F1 became a farce when Ecclestone realised he could do whatever the fuck he wanted and get away with it (so probably about 1997).

All thats left is the sad advertisement driven world of modern motorsport. Theres only really 6 car companies in the world anymore which has ruined the competition. All they want to do is throw money at it and screw the others into the ground on the track. If they cant then they quit. Wheres the sport?

Watching suped up Honda Civics and other hatchbacks with adverts on is entertainment for max power chavs. Its a culture thing.

You are the colour co ordination King because I know you would love to see a Swindon support with every single person in that end with a Swindon shirt on (deny if you will). I consider co-ordinated dressing in the name of support to be very gay. Hence my comparison.

1) F1 is boring yes but the BTCC is fantastic entertainment

2) Max Power live is for chavs not the BTCC

3) I don't care what anyone wears to Swindon matches, i like to wear the shirt though.

3 of 5 football games I go to do as well come to think of it.  Crying  Least I know that if Swindon came good again it would be a 1000% entertainment.

I know the feeling.  It's that dull feeling of hope that one day we'll be back that keeps me going!

Motorsport used to excite me, but a lot of it's pretty poor.  Even Spa-Francorachamps failed to produce an exciting race today, despite being mixed weather.
