They left before the embargo was lifted. They are just a creditor now.
No they were still due payment and were paid the monthly salary they were entitled to. They are now claiming something else that was agreed as part of the mutual consent agreement between them and the club. That will be what the club are disputing ss it will be heavily weighed in their favour
