Stayed up late to remind myself that the Broncos have a decent D, but a dodgy O.

Made the Titans look good.

As a Colts fan, I'm still in shock that a good weekend with the Barrow win got even better (surprisingly) with a Colts season opener win too.  Amusing to watch how quickly fans now pivot to Danny Dimes being the QB messiah...until they lose next week and dump on him again!

Good win for the Colts but I suspect McDaniel (who I do like) will be out of a job come the end of the season. Very unusual score line....not a 'Scorigami' though as it has happened once before (2017 Patriots v Raiders)

The Ravens get their fair share of close wins (often at the expense of the Bengals...twice last season for example!) I didn't see it as it was way past my bed time but what a game it must have been though...a shootout and half...

Bengals are notoriously slow starters right? Take the win anyway you can get them

Dolphins don’t win 4 games this season.

100%...and with Burrow, Chase and Higgins, you know the Offence is going to get MUCH better...

Every season I say this, every season Bengals fans disagree with me, and every year I'm proven right.

PENEI SEWELL WAS THERE FOR THE TAKING. I don't care how good Chase is, it's pointless if you have no one to throw it to him.

I'm going to disagree as well. Chase was absolutely 100% the right pick, he's an unbelievably exceptional, generational talent. Where they went wrong was since then, they've had dozens of opportunities in the draft and free agency to strengthen the O line with top class talent and time and time again they've failed to do it...and it's mind boggling . The Front Office / Mike Brown just need shooting...

What I also don't get is that for most of the second half v Cleveland and carrying over to the Jax game yesterday Burrow was running round in circles, getting sacked and generally not getting anywhere and ultimately getting fcked up but Browning came into the game and started moving the ball behind the same O line...I don't get it.

I actually think the Bengals can still get to the play offs with Browning...maybe I'm being overly optimistic. We shall see...

Generational O-linemen are inherently more important than generational receivers and Burrow is currently on the Andrew Luck trajectory. Burrow's career has and will continue suffer because of that pick (as well as the Bengals front office continued refusal to invest in the right places). Chase himself has only proven to be generational with Burrow, without him his stats are more along the lines of DJ Moore (still top tier, but not elite). I'm not disputing Chase's talent, he is unbelievable, but with a low range QB it's utterly wasted.

For immediate impact and ceiling, sure. Chase was a great pick. For the long term security of your franchise... Wrong move. The fact the Bengals have missed the playoffs 2 years running, and probably a 3rd (I hope not, despite my bitching here, I like the Bengals) speaks volumes.

Chase was the right pick, tails is wrong, as is JoeyB for thinking he's an evasive running QB. He can do it, but not every fucking play. They the fucking ball into the sidelines and live to fight another fucking drive man

So....will the Bengals make a move for Kirk Cousins? I suspect not and to be honest I'm not sure that they should as I do like Jake Browning.

Having said that, the main problem with back up QB's based on personal observation, is that they may be good for 2,3 or even 4 games but then they start to struggle as defences figure them out and they start to wilt under the mental and physical pressure of being a starter.

Would that happen to Browning?

At least we're 2-0 (amazingly) and next up are the Vikings who are showing that they may not be as good as I thought they were at the beginning of the season...

So, Patriots at Dolphins was very much an entertaining game!
To my right was a long time Patriots fan and 2 of his employees who were Dolphins fans. To my left was a manic Dolphins fan who seemed to be on a massive cocaine high for the whole game. My ears are fucked.
Tua Tagoviloa is not popular with the home fans.
A vey entertaining game, particularly with a punt return TD immediately followed by a kick of return TD.
Watching and listening to fans alternating between joy and despair was like watching tennis😃
