VIC MORGAN COLUMN: Plymouth are happy so why are we down?

STRANGE old things perceptions aren’t they? Here we are in the final few furlongs of the season, with an outside chance of the play-offs.

I can't believe the playoffs are still obtainable, every other last place playoff chasing team conspiring to stuff up and give us hope.

I laughed at the cries of people saying Sheff U are in the mix, but they are the form team at the right time.

Tough month for us, injuries, bad form, lack of fire power - not that surprising the mood is somewhat downbeat. If Smith can somehow start firing then maybe...just maybe..our season could be interesting

The season already is interesting...we need to make sure we get to to 52, then the players can start to enjoy it a bit more. As I've said before there's a lot of positives to take from this year....namely, I think the Power strategy is correct, I don't mind the DoF/coach structure, and Cooper has done OK, certainly enough to keep his job.

Having a style of play and wanting to stick with it is also positive. We've got a some useful looking young players coming along, who should be a bit better next season for the experience of this.
