I for one am looking forward to a beer again in the Town End, hopefully it will be a lot calmer over the next 3 games to get the licence!

Did anyone here why this was closed Tues night - I think Jed tweeted something about the council asking him not to open it, not sure if there has been anything else ?

Jed claims the police told him it was ok to open for three games but the Council (who are the licensing authority) refused it, got to apply for a licence for it, he claims it will be open for the Port Vale game.

Although a season ticket holder in the Town End I've not had the happy experience of the bar yet. I checked it out when it wasn't open and thought that's something I'm not bothered to miss, that was until my niece who managed to get in there with her superior half described it as coming back from a win after an away game on the train in the buffet which I think I would like ? ....next opportunity !!

Sounds great

The buffet car atmosphere after an away win is an even rarer experience than an open Town End Bar however
