Let's not write off the lad before he's had a chance...I like Willo, of course he's not wonderful, which is why he's a Div 3 player, but he does have some ability.

Yes, he does. I just hope he decides to use it this season.  He spent too much game time 'hiding' last season.

I got in to the car a short while ago to run an errand.  On goes BBC Radio 5, and an update for Sheffield United vs Notts County.  No word of a lie, but as soon as the team names were announced I had a shiver down my spine.  In a 'football's back' kind of way.

To be fair, early August has always seemed a little early.  Still more than half of the Ashes series to play.  Early September would seem more natural somehow.  August belongs to the summer; September to the start of the new school term and early autumn.  But I'm glad it's back anyway.

Really surprised at the football Sheffield played,really weird after years of hoofball.
The passing and one touch was brilliant at times.
Weir could become a very good manager.
