Well it's mild and wet in Manchester today so unless there's a massive temp drop overnight I reckon it'll be on. Just checked metcheck and not due to drop below 2 degrees overnight.

Cheers Tj. Yeah does sound very hopeful. Which begs the question of why they're not having it today and are waiting for the morning. In fact - why are they having it at all?!

Well it has been bloody cold over the last week but you'd have thought they'd have the frost covers etc on.

Yeah i know Batch but the article says they've had covers on and its a bit frozen underneath now they've taken them off. Surely it can't be that bad and would be playable this afternoon if necessary, let alone tomorrow afternoon.

I would have thought that the the warmer weather and rain of today/tomorrow would have meant it would definatley be on.

Planning on leaving before 9.30 so will have to take a chance...

Waterlogged pitch?  Rain onto frozen ground has nowhere to go...

On a separate note, channel hopped onto some egg chasing from Adams Park, Wycombe last night, and was surprised to see a lovely playing surface as they have undersoil heating...quite impressive for an essentially non league club, something I've always wanted to see at the CG.
