I know this is an old old topic
BUT
I am attending the match on Tues .. Arkells stand .. £23
Ive asked ALL of my mates who like footy to come with me and they have ALL turned me down ... with the words .. ITS TOO EXPENSIVE for THAT RUBBISH!!
Dont the club realise its costing me money and my mates?? Bring down the prices as fair weather fans wont come otherwise ..

:| £23 for third tier football is far, far too expensive. The worrying thing is that 'if' the unthinkable was to happen and we went down, the board would probably increase prices in league 2 and that would be the start of us going out of business. I'm such an optimist!!

Well I'll pay 15 for the TE which is amongst the lower for the Div.....don't think you'll get much cheaper elsewhere, so cost isn't really an issue.

I've got a 'newbie' football mate coming with me tommorrow, he's nominally a Man U fan, but came with me to Luton at home last year and keeps telling me he wants to come to 'a rakeload' of town games this term. The £23 quid doesn't put him off, on the other hand an old Swindon supporting mate hasn't come since 1997 and has been using the 'I'm not paying that to watch that crap' all that time. If people want to come they'll find the money, truth is most of them would rather follow Utd, Arsenal or Liverpool on the telly.

my brother and his mate are coming along tomorrow. we need to impress on our first home game of the season, new fans will come and if impressed they will continue to attend. i wouldn't be surprised if the board lowered prices next season. i've got a season ticket in the town end and it's a bargain £147 and it saves me about £100!!

Quite, on cup final day there were people wandering down the London Rd in Calne wearing Arsenal flags round their shoulders carrying inflatable Cups. How many games a season do they watch at Highbury? I purposely didn't go to the pub to watch the Champions League final cos I can't trust myself to keep my opinons on the chocolate scousers under wraps when I've had a couple of pints. I can't see a change in ticket prices bringing fans back, sadly only success seems to do that.

31 quid for me and my lad plus 30 quid petrol- I can only afford Town End prices and usually do 12-15 games per season.I couldn't stand watching Prem football, not at all interested

£23 quid for ticket cos I'm a short arse and can't see anything in the town end, then £20 for train and about £5 in bus travel. So £48 if I'm travelling from southampton. Probably why I hardly go on my measly student budget
