They've got a Holiday Inn at Norwich with rooms which overlook the pitch - a part of the stand. I think you can book the rooms, but you aren't allowed to watch a game - don't know how they stop you!! I think Twickenham has got a Marriott which is incorporated in the stand as well

Stadium MK has a similar thing. A quick google reveals that the pitch facing rooms have different check in times, so that they are not occupied during matches.

I've stayed in a pitch facing hotel room at The Reebok Stadium. It had some pretty sturdy electronic blinds that it said automatically shut during a game

Didn't realise it was so common. Yeah can't check in until 8pm on a match day. Also the doors don't open properly which has spoilt the plans of a drunken midnight kick about!

I worked the help for heroes gig at Twickenham a couple of years back. I was there for 3 days but on the Saturday night they had a few rooms in the adjoining marriot hotel to use for the acts next day so they gave me one.
So I spent the Saturday night I was in tom jones's bed(the welsh singing one, not the true legend who played for town) with a view and a little balcony into the stands to go for a fag.
Ive also stayed at the Holiday inn norwich which back onto carrow road. Could see the pitch but it was a thursday so no match action.

The Old Trafford Cricket Ground has hotel rooms overlooking the pitch, and pretty sure that people were watching the match from the room balconies when I last went there.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn, Oxford a couple of times, right next to the Kassam. You even get the pleasures of a bus ride through Blackbird Leys when going into town. Not the nicest location but a decent cheap option.

Wasn't there a Scottish ground which had someone's house as part of one stand? Complete with a window facing onto the pitch?

Presumably cheaper than the ones that face the road.

I believe there is a room in the CG Hotel you can book from where you can see the cigarette smoke drifting from the back of the Town End bogs !
