My kid wants this for xmas, he already has fifa 11.

Is it:

 a)  Fifa 12 it really a massive improvement on Fifa 11.

 b) he is being manipulated by the corporate greed of Ea sports/Fifa?

c) I'm being a tight arsed miserable old bastard?

Thanks for any help....

The only thing new about it is the updated leagues and teams it is basically the same game but then again mw3 is basically mw2 and ppl still buy it. Maybe the games he wants to replace he could sell on to buy it himself. I got 18 quid for fifa 11 2 months ago on ebay tht went towards fifa 12

Fifa 12 has an entirely new defending system.

It is more of a "new" game than Fifa 11 was to 10 for example.

But it isn't a massive jump.

It's just that now you actually have to time your tackles rather then hold a button.

then again if your son wants it then its probably a gd idea to get him it. All kids like playing updated versions if hes a fan of the town then there will be a huge differance in the squad you have.

Cheers - think I'll keep it for him and get some practice in before Christmas, that way I might even get to beat him in a game or two when he first gets it!
