With the demise of BBC Swindon Radio due to the BBC cut backs announced in the last few days, will it be the end of match day commentary now we will only have a Wiltshire wide radio station to tune into?

Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

No but at some time in the near future BBC Swindon will; as I understood the article on the Graham Mack show yesterday. He's one of the losers in this as well.

They were talking about shared afternoon programming 2-4 with other south west BBC (Brizzle, Zummerset, etc). One hopes that is week days only.

Budget must still be an issue though Sad

FFS!  I'm getting sick and tired of cut backs here there and everywhere!  I do hope the match build up, commentary and after match reaction continue as to be honest that's the only time I tune into the station along with many others I'm sure.  Cut this back and they may find their listening figures hit hard.
