Paolo di Canio has no regrets about rejecting Man Utd

Paolo di Canio says that he could not have sold out "his team" West Ham, despite admitting there was "contact" from Manchester United about a possible transfer in 2002.

With the view of most modern footballers as money driven mercenaries, its a pleasure to hear guys like do Canio speak.

Don't get me wrong I'm sure he's done very well financially out of football, but he seems to have a much better understanding of the fan/club relationship than most.
