Thinking of getting the train to this and see the last train back from paddington is 23.30, will that give enough time to get the tube from dagenham to paddington would imagine it would be a bit of a nightmare though

It's a very long way, but should TfL Journey Planner website thinks suggests it should take no more than about 1 hour 15 mins.
