I got nothing in the end. Mind you I only applied for 4 events....

Opening Ceremony
Olympics Prelims
Beach Volleyball
Swimming

Will go for second round ballot (although those tickets will go very quickly and the website will crash)to the bin emptying or whatever else is still available so anyone looking to get rid of tickets let me know.

If you tout them and attempt to sell them on for a profit you're in big trouble if they catch you and they'll be doing their best to make sure they do. They've changed the law as well to make the penalties pretty steep.

Oh come on !

He WAS talking about fucking Yanks who are pretty much fair game in my book

We've got tickets for two events.

One is football at the Ricoh arena, and the other is either a track cycling session or one of the Athletics sessions. (same ticket prices)

We are also planning to go & watch the (cycling) individual TT as that's a free event.

I got charged £66... I'm pretty sure it'll be for football at Wembley. Bit of a shame, as I'd much rather have got some athletics. Hoepfully I'll get hold of somethings decent when people start trading!

I've just had £136 charged to my credit card for some tickets - one of the Athletics days as far as I can tell. Might be worth checking if you didn't think you'd got any as evidently some of the payments are still being taken.

Apparently they had some reallocating to do as a number of payments couldn't be taken - the extra tickets were supposed to go to the first failures in the respective ballots.
