And what a wonderful programme it is. The writing, direction and acting are all top-notch, the entire production has a unprecedented air of professionalism about it. People often point at American shows such as The Wire or Deadwood and say that British productions don't have the budgets to match up to such quality, but Waterloo Road has completely proved them wrong.
