Yeah I saw that, I think that Exeter wanted the game to be played badly and lost a lot of money which they can ill afford.

Maybe they are sueing the football league or referees association over it?

I must admit that it didnt look in too bad a shape when I had a look on the pitch about 6.20 (they had the gates open) a bit of forking and draining and I would have thought it playable, I have seen much worse pitches played on.

I suspect from what they've said that it's more a case of looking at whether they have a case against either the people who moved/relaid the pitch in the summer and/or the people who maintain it for negligence, not putting in proper drainage or some such.

But if they wanted the game to be played badly, I'm sure we'll still be able to play badly in a month Smiley
