Finances are massively improving year on year, still at a loss overall, but news and progress like this is nothing but encouraging for the future.
We are looking to buy the freehold of the CG ground from this council, something which has been needed for years now as the current set up has been a slight burden on many fronts for the club financially for a long time. Stadium redevelopment is going to happen, i don't believe it'll be this summer but this is also great news for the club.
All in all very pleased with this news! The team isn't excelling right now, something which i think we're all feeling incredibly frustrated about, but anyone doubting the boards ambitions and plans can now see that they are putting a lot of effort in right now to secure the club for many years to come.
Players come and players go, but the town is the most important thing at the end of the day, so despite on the field frustrations, we should've signed someone but didn't and so on.... i would like to say a big thank you to the entire hierarchy at the club. The future is bright, the future is RED!!

The article refers to a 5 year plan to get into the championship. Wasnt it initially a 3 year plan?
