I went today and it was fecking hot. I look like a lobster.

If you are a petrol head in any shape or form you need to go next year. What a day. You are only 20 ft from the track, as oppossed to 50ft at a grand prix.

All sorts of cars and bikes have a blast up the hill inlcuding some really rare stuff. They all make some serious noise.

Top bits of the day.

Seeing Jenson Button acting like a complete loon with last years BAR Honda. Major burnouts whilst bouncing on the rev limiter all the way up the hill.

Jean Ragnotti(sp) and his Renault 5 Maxi turbo rally car doing 360's at 80 miles an hour.

Will Gollop and his new 2.4 litre twin turbo Focus with 550BHP blasting through the rally stage, Banging, whistling, popping, chirping and with foot long flames banging out of the back on the overrun.  Awesome noise.

Standing in the paddock as the Group B rally cars, Le Mans racers and old skool big block american touring cars all leave to join the track. Bags of revving and 10ft long wheels spins.

Costs £42 for the ticket and spent the same again on beer and food today, but was worth every penny.
