Gloves are off in fight for keeper's shirt

TOWN boss Danny Wilson believes his two goalkeepers are engaged in a major scrap for the number one jersey, giving him the best kind of selection headache
ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Walsall in League One.

Would it not be best that they kept their gloves on?

wilson has had ample opportunities to keep selecting smith after impressive displays.i didn't think he was all that on saturday.
he's done much better in the past and then been back on the bench the following week

Nothing.

Just like he did nothing wrong away at Charlton but didnt play at Wembley. Every time Lucas has been fit he's played regardless of how well Smith has done.

Slow news day perhaps!

not alot.
wasn't a display that had him knocking on the door to steal lucas's spot though.
in my opinion of course.

Classic carrot on a stick. Wilson is making Phil Smith believe he can actually take over as number one GK at the club to make sure he gets the best out of him.

Good man management, I'd say... even if it is a load of old bollocks.
