I went yesterday (was supposed to go a month ago but mrs was ill)
It was great! the orag-utans are safe as fuck.
Sadly most of the monkeys were inside as it was so hot but a few ventured out and started play fighting for our amusement. They've expanded it significantly since we last went 3/4 years ago. The only downside to the trip was it took 3.5 hours to get back thanks to all the traffic coming back up from the south coast.
I'll post some pics later if I can be arsed.

My brother went there a few weeks back. There's a monkey who had to go to a special monkey rehab 'cos he was a drud addict! He was recued from a holiday resort in Spain where he was pumped full of sedetives (or something like that) so tourists could play with him

Yeah most of the monkeys there have been abused or expirimented on in some way.
I'm not an animal rights type person, but couldnt help but feel sory for the little hairy dudes. At least they seem happy now.

I've been meaning to go since last summer. I have to get round to it after my holiday.

sounds quality. I know I'm being dense, but how far is it from the train station?

I'd imagine its a fair way from the nearest main station, its basically in a field (a big field!) between Bare regis and Wareham
