spoke to the chips away fella.he reccomended i get the panels done fully.

if i claim on my insurance i will have to pay an excess of £250 and then if i have another accident in a year will lose 2 years off my no claims bonus.
as it's not my fault i shouldn't have to pay a penny really.

deffinitely don't buy the kid a present.

it will teach him if he does something wrong he'll get rewarded.

kidnap him for a few hours and lock him in a dark room playing white noise and place him in a stress position.
