What do people reckon then, give Morrison and LJF the tour to see how they progress and if not a new CB coming our way shortly after?

I think we'll sooner or later realise we need a new CB, SM and LJF just arent capable of filling Greer's boots IMO. Give em a go pre season, stupid not to give them the opportunity but I think both of them lack what it takes at the higher of our league.

I would love for Morrison to come in and establish himself but my gut feeling is that we need to bring some one in otherewise we will be playing catch up again this season. The very thing Wilson & Fitton say they want to avoid.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, experience is the key. The young lads, apart from Rose, need leadership.

This is what I love about Wilson. He's still pissed off even though we won 4-1 in a meaningless game. Well it bodes well that he is annoyed. It must have been poor. Maybe a CB will be added to his shopping list in the near future?

CB should have been top of the list anyway.

I'd rather we got a new Centre Back in straight away. We're unlikely to get through the season with only three and I'd like to see whoever comes in given some time to gel with the rest of the defence before August 7th.

Think this is Wilsons way of giving Fitton a very big hint on what he thinks he needs.

Some of the comments on that article are a joke. People questioning the way we go about transfers. Apparantly making a bid and waiting for a response is ludicrous.

CB should have been top of the list anyway.
Not before we decided to sell Greer. We already had four bids on the way when that happened, so it would have been lower down the order, but Wilson did say he was in the market for central defender anyway. People have to remember that most of the stuff in the Adver is bollocks - lines given to the paper to keep them happy while tyring not to disrupt anything going on at club (players here already, possible transfers etc).
