  MATT Ritchie has offered an apparent snub to Town’s overtures, admitting he is ready to sign a new deal at Portsmouth and establish himself as a Championship player.

Why drop to League 1 when you can enjoy job insecurity and just as little public interest getting relegated into League 1 from a higher level?

It's not even really a snub though is it?!  I didn't think there was anything set in stone about him coming anyway?  Nothing like the Theo Robinson situation thats for sure.
