Apparently Lee Hughes has been a re-formed character after he got sent down, plus he's served his time.
How long do you keep punishing someone for?

Le Tissier was never punished for it, thought it was pretty funny, wrote about it in a book and didn't show any remorse until the shit hit the fan. So how exactly was he ever punished for what he did? |

I bet Doug Graham's daughter won't be sitting around saying "oh as long as Hughes scores goals for a football team thats good., I Forgive him, he's a nice boy now and hey he did 3 years for killing my dad so its forgotten now. I mean he didnt mean to run away from the car after killing my Dad" I wonder if she thinks her Dad's life was worth 3 years? Its a complete non starter.
I think Fitton might well let Wilson buy a striker though. The summer transfer window just seems to be so drawn out with players and agents waiting for a better offer. At least in January you can put in an offer and get a response from club and player fairly quickly before other clubs notice.
I dont think we would have been able to sign Cox in the summer transfer window.
