Being very careful with this because it's potentially horribly libellous, but there are a lot of rumours going around that Redknapp is on his way out of Spurs- SkyBet have him down to evens to be next manager to go.

As Spurs have made a very good start to the season, it seems likely that this would, if true, be for 'other' reasons. Likely Fuzz-related.

Could be an interesting afternoon.

Probably nonsense though:

William Hill spokesman: "It is probably a bandwagon effect as ususal, based on unsubstantiated gossip, but in volatile markets of this nature you can’t afford to take a chance and we are being inundated with calls from punters wanting to bet that Harry will be the first to go.”

Excellent use of the word 'twiddle' there.  I enjoyed that.

There are a lot of betting scams involving manager speculation at the moment.

Rumour starts, syndicate puts on £3,000 that manager will leave.

Odds shorten. Syndicate then puts 10x as much on Betfair that the manager will stay.

How much money would you need to stake to actually get the odds cut down that far though? Redknapp was about 4th least favourite yeterday.
