Very perceptive for someone that knows nothing about speedway, the answer is indeed no ! 8 point lead is for the semi final only, the final starts all square. If Swindon progress (which they will barring any disasters) then they will be at home in the second leg of the final, not much of an advantage but at least finish at home.

We never seem to win the league but Wolves in the final will be very tricky over 2 legs.

we've been to Aberdeen, we hate the Hibs, they make us spew up, so make some noise,
the gorgie boys, for Hearts in Europe.

I went to my first speedway "meet?" a few months ago against Coventry Bees. Swindon won quite comfortably......I enjoyed it.

I like going to speedway, its quite pricy these days but is a good evening out. Even better now that Swindon have a very good speedway side.

Cheaper than watching STFC and as you say we do have a very good speedway side!
